Goals:

The Department of Electrical Engineering at National Taiwan University has become an international university in terms of quality of teachers, equipment, and paper publications. Recently, in order to achieve the aim of the top-ten college, we encourage the outstanding IEEE student members to join the IEEE Organization and expect that they make a significant influence on tendencies in the future.

IEEE Student Branch at National Taiwan University is a parallel unit with Department Student Branch. The major distinction between the two units is that our branch is responsible for scholar business and for helping the new members to understand the international congress organization. The most important task, recently, we must recruit many potential students who are the seeded members in our school to attend our IEEE Student Branch. In progress, we can hold several activities and conferences to allow the undergraduated and graduate students to follow the history and procedures of the IEEE organization and IEEE conference and journal/transaction. Thus, we believe that the members can know the trend of Electrical and Electronic Engineering and get the international vision. Based on our effort and other staff's effort, the top-ten university will come true someday.

Recent Goals:

1. Recruit IEEE Student Members.
2. Make the affiliation clear for our members.
3. Setup IEEE Student Branch Web-Site at National Taiwan University, Taipei, Taiwan, Republic of China.
4. Foundation for IEEE Student Branch at National Taiwan University.
